Calculate the exact number of days, working days, weeks and months between any two dates.
Counting the days between two dates manually is one of those tasks that seems simple but goes wrong surprisingly often. Month lengths, leap years, and whether you're counting inclusively or exclusively all create room for error. This calculator gets it right every time.
Enter a start date and an end date and it returns the exact number of days between them — plus optional breakdowns in weeks and months, and a working days count that excludes weekends.
It's used for calculating the length of a lease, how long until a deadline, the number of days between two events, checking contract durations, and confirming how long something has been running.
The calculator counts from the start date to the end date — meaning the first day is day zero and the last day is included. If you want both days included (inclusive count), add 1 to the result.
There's no limit — you can calculate between any two dates, past or future, including across centuries.
Working days exclude Saturdays and Sundays. For calculations involving business contracts, payment terms, or employment notice periods, working days is the correct count if the relevant agreement specifies it.
